From Static to Seamless
Project Description
This project challenged us to select a local business with an outdated or ineffective website. We then embarked on a rebranding initiative, developing a comprehensive design brief as if we were hired by the chosen business. This approach allowed us to explore creative solutions to enhance their online presence and achieve their business goals.
Project Concept & Design Goals
This project encompassed a complete redesign of a local movie theater’s website. I commenced by conducting thorough competitive analysis and defining clear business objectives, such as adding the option to buy and print tickets from the site and creating a better user experience in finding the contact information. To ensure a user-centric approach, I developed detailed user personas and mapped out their journeys, identifying key pain points and areas for improvement. I then created a comprehensive sitemap to organize website content logically and improve user navigation. To refresh the theater’s visual identity, I redesigned the logo and developed a comprehensive brand style guide. I subsequently created wireframes for both desktop and mobile experiences, followed by the production of high-fidelity mockups to visualize the final website design and user interface.
